WebMar 20, 2024 · The 16 uses the gimbals from the 14sg. The 18sz uses the gimbals from the 18mz. Both are fine. I fly an 18sz but I’ve had a 14sg and I’ve flown a 16sz a few times. The 14/16 gimbals are completely fine. The 18 gimbals are slightly smoother and have adjustable detent. The 14/16 gimbals require changing a part to go from smooth to ratchet throttle.
