My printer is only capable of connecting to 2.4ghz. By default, all laptops are connecting to the 5ghz. I am unable to print from the 5ghz devices to the 2.4ghz printer. The "warning" is based on the theory that the gateway will force 5GHz devices to use that band, taking pressure off the 2.4GHz band.
